Who we are

Eeseol is the Korean-beauty brand behind this site. You can browse the houses we carry, buy online, and reach us about wholesale by email. Our online store, cart, checkout, and payments run on a third-party commerce and payments platform, and an optional customer account is hosted by that platform. We are the controller of the personal information described here, and you can reach us using the Contact link in the footer.

Information we collect

• Information you give us: your name, email address, and — if you choose to provide it — your phone number, along with the contents of your message when you send a wholesale inquiry, subscribe to our newsletter, or opt in to text messages.
• Order information: when you place an order, our commerce and payments platform processes the items you buy, the order value, and the shipping and billing details you enter at checkout, so your order can be fulfilled. Payment card details are handled directly by the platform's payment processor — we do not receive or store full card numbers.
• Account information: if you create an optional account, the commerce platform holds your saved details and order history so you can sign in and check out faster.
• Booking information: when you open the booking scheduler and submit its form, the scheduling provider handles the booking date/time, contact details, and intake answers such as houses of interest.
• Technical information: standard server logs and device or usage data — such as IP address, browser type, and pages viewed — that we need to deliver and secure the site.
• Analytics (only with your consent): if you allow performance cookies, we measure how the site is used, including a non-identifying record of shopping actions such as viewing a product, adding to cart, or starting checkout. We also record privacy-screened searches you submit, the number of results, and which result you select. We do not record search terms as you type, and we omit the submitted words when a search looks like an email, phone number, web address, order, invoice, tracking or reference number, or is unusually long. Session replay does not run on search-results pages. Where an analytics event is tied to an email, the identifier is a one-way hashed value, never your raw email address.

• Respond to wholesale inquiries and stay in touch about them.
• Schedule and prepare for event meetings you request through the booking scheduler.
• Send the newsletter you asked for, and let you unsubscribe at any time.
• Operate, secure, debug, and improve the site.
• Understand how the site and submitted search results are used, when you have allowed analytics.
• Meet legal, accounting, tax, and security obligations.

Legal bases (EEA / UK)

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on performance of a contract (to process and deliver the orders you place), your consent (newsletter and analytics), our legitimate interests in running, securing, and improving the site, and compliance with legal obligations. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing.

Cookies and similar technologies

Strictly necessary technologies keep the site working, remember your saved choices, and hold your shopping cart so items stay in it through checkout. Performance (analytics) and advertising technologies are optional and stay off until you allow them. Performance technologies include privacy-respecting analytics and anonymized, cookieless session replay and heatmaps (with text and form inputs masked). Consented analytics may include privacy-screened searches you submit, result counts, and result selections; replay excludes search-results pages. Advertising cookies, which help us measure our ad campaigns and reach you on other platforms, load only if you turn on Advertising in your privacy choices. Our commerce and payments platform sets its own strictly necessary cookies to run the cart and checkout, and the booking scheduler loads provider scripts when you open the meeting modal so its calendar and intake form can work. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it with service providers who operate the site, our store, and our messaging on our behalf — such as our commerce and payments platform and its payment processor (to run the cart, checkout, payments, and order fulfillment), hosting and content delivery, error monitoring, privacy-respecting analytics and session replay, our live chat and customer-relationship platform, scheduling provider, and our email, newsletter, and SMS providers — under contracts that limit their use of it, and when we are legally required to do so. If you turn on Advertising cookies, we also share limited device and event information with an advertising platform to measure campaigns and show you relevant ads on other platforms; this is off unless you opt in, and you can turn it off anytime in "Privacy choices."

Text messaging (SMS)

If you give us your mobile number and opt in, Eeseol may send you promotional text messages about special offers, discounts, new arrivals, restocks, and new-brand drops. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

International transfers

We operate from the United States, our launch market, and may process information in the US and other countries where our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for — for example, to handle your inquiry, deliver an order, or keep you subscribed. Order and transaction records are kept for the periods accounting and tax rules require. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Under EEA/UK GDPR you may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Under California's CCPA/CPRA you may request access and deletion, and you may opt out of the sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Such sharing is off by default and happens only if you turn on Advertising cookies in "Privacy choices" (in the footer); you can withdraw at any time there. To exercise any right, contact us using the footer link; we will not discriminate against you for doing so.

Do Not Track and opt-out signals

Some browsers and extensions send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) or Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. There is no single industry standard for DNT, so we do not respond to it. Advertising cookies stay off unless you turn them on in "Privacy choices"; where GPC applies, we treat it as a request to keep the sharing of your information for advertising turned off. You can change your choice anytime in "Privacy choices."

Children's privacy

This site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves. We will post the new version here and update the date above. If a change is significant, we'll make it clear at the top of this page — and, where we can, tell subscribers by email — before it takes effect.
